PRESSURE REDUSING VALVE (PRV) INSTALLATION SAN DIEGO
Pressure reducing valve is a type of valve that regulates the water pressure in your plumbing system. When installed PRV reduces the pressure coming from the public water main, to a pressure that will be safe for the customer’s home or business. The normal working water pressure is 40-80psi. High pressure will slowly damage all your fixtures and appliances. If the water pressure exceeds 80psi, we strongly recommend installing a PRV or changing the existing one.
- Test the pressure and turn off the main water to the house.
- Dismount the old PRV and prep the piping.
- Install the new PRV and test the pressure.
- Clean up the jobsite.
- Free inspection of all appliances and fixtures
Service price: $299 and up, including the PRV.
